How to Uninstall Opera Browser in MIUI (Mi, Redmi, Poco Mobiles)
Opera Browser is now pre-installed on some Xiaomi phones running MIUI (Mi, Redmi, Poco). However, it is not possible to uninstall Opera Browser on all Xiaomi phones. In some regions, such as India, Opera Browser is considered to be bloatware and cannot be uninstalled.
How to Uninstall Opera Browser in MIUI
If you are unable to uninstall Opera Browser from your Xiaomi phone, you can disable it instead. To disable Opera Browser, follow these steps:
Open the Settings app on your Xiaomi phone
1) Tap on Apps
2) Tap on See all apps.
3) Scroll down and find Opera Browser.
4) Tap on Opera Browser.
5) Tap on Disable.
Once you have disabled Opera Browser, it will no longer be accessible from the app drawer. However, you can still open Opera Browser by going to Settings > Apps > See all apps > Opera Browser and tapping on Open.
If you want to uninstall Opera Browser in the future, you can do so by rooting your Xiaomi phone. Rooting your phone will give you full access to the system, which will allow you to uninstall any app, including pre-installed apps. However, rooting your phone can also void your warranty and make your phone more vulnerable to security threats.
